On June 18, the Provincial Women's Union (VWU) held the 8th Conference of the Executive Committee, term XII, 2021-2026, to review and evaluate the achievements and limitations in the work of the VWU and women's movement in the first 6 months, orientations and tasks of the VWU in the last 6 months of 2025; evaluate the results of the emulation movement and reward work in the period of 2020-2025 and orientations and tasks in the period of 2025-2030; review the inspection and supervision work of the VWU at all levels in the first 6 months of the year; and the work of entrusting loans from the Social Policy Bank in the first 6 months of 2025.
In the first 6 months of the year, the Women's Union at all levels has closely followed the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the 2025 theme set by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, continued to promote the spirit of solidarity, dynamism, creativity, and implemented the activities of the Union with many results. Through the activities of the Union, many typical examples of individuals, groups, models, and good practices have been commended, promoted, and replicated.
In the last 6 months of the year, the Provincial Women's Union continues to direct all levels of the Union to effectively implement the Resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress, the Resolution of the Women's Congress at all levels, emulation movements, campaigns and key tasks of the Union; promote the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. Implement the Plan to arrange and merge provincial and communal administrative units and organize the 2-level local government system; arrange socio- political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State into the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
On this occasion, the Provincial Women's Union awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 collectives and 17 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020-2025; awarded Certificates to 11 individuals who won prizes in the writing contest "The Union's Work Milestones".
