
Since its launch, the Godmother Program has sponsored 94 orphans and children in especially difficult circumstances. Women's Unions, organizations, individuals, and philanthropists have become "Godmothers", extending loving arms, helping unfortunate children have more spiritual support to rise up in life, strive to overcome difficulties, study well, and pass entrance exams to specialized schools and public universities.
Among these “Godmothers” are Mr. Nguyen Van Buong - Chief Justice of the High People's Court in Da Nang and officers and staff of the High People's Court in Da Nang who have supported resources and sponsored many children in Tam Ky City over the past 5 years. Among them, Do Thi Xuan Loc, with the support of Mr. Buong, has made efforts to pass the entrance exam to Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics in 2023.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Yen - President of Tam Ky City Women's Union expressed her gratitude to the association's branches, sponsors, agencies and units accompanying the City Women's Union, helping and sponsoring children in special circumstances.
Ms. Yen said that currently, in the city, there are still more than 100 orphans and children in especially difficult circumstances who have not been sponsored. "I hope that the program will continue to spread, and that more unfortunate children will be helped with the motto "Where there are orphans, there are godmothers" - Ms. Yen shared.
At the program, the City Women's Union honored 15 groups and individuals who accompanied the city's "Godmother" program.

On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Van Buong - Chief Justice of the High People's Court in Da Nang presented 20 million VND to the City Women's Union to continue implementing activities to care for and help children in difficult circumstances.

The City Women's Union presented 94 gifts to sponsored children and 14 ao dai to female students. The AIA "Journey of Life" program presented 10 bicycles to disadvantaged children so they could have a means of transportation to school.


On this occasion, more than 100 children participating in the program "Continue writing dreams with your children" gathered around a cake to celebrate Vietnamese Family Day, June 28.
