City Women's Union launched the "3 Clean Week" campaign

(CT) - On the morning of August 30, at Phu Nhon Hamlet, Chau Thanh Commune, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, President of the Women's Union of Can Tho City attended the launching ceremony of the "3 Clean Week" peak: clean house, clean kitchen, clean alley. The activity was organized by the Women's Union of the city to compete for achievements in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The peak of “3 Clean Week” was launched throughout the Association system, taking place from September 1 to 7. In particular, focusing on effectively implementing and widely spreading 3 criteria: clean house, clean kitchen, clean alley; organizing environmental sanitation activities, classifying and collecting solid waste at the source; recycling and reusing plastic waste; trimming trees, participating in the implementation of flower roads, model rural traffic routes, protecting the environment “green, clean, beautiful”...

At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh encouraged members and women to actively participate in the activities of the "Women participating in environmental protection" club, implementing the "No-garbage route" movement; keeping the family's yard, alley and roads, and sewers around the family's residence clean, without stagnant water or littering; building a green - clean - beautiful landscape and common environment for the community...

On this occasion, the City Women's Union mobilized to award 5 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) to students in Chau Thanh commune who have difficult circumstances but have overcome difficulties to study well. The scholarships were sponsored by the Social Policy Bank , Can Tho City branch.
