It is known that the 2025 World Young Mathematicians Olympiad has just taken place with the participation of student delegations from 13 countries and territories around the world such as Indonesia, Thailand, Mexico, Malaysia, Bolivia, Philippines, Vietnam, Hong Kong....
The exam has 3 levels, of which level A is for students in grades 4, 5 and 6.
Level B is for students in grades 7, 8, and 9 and level C is for grades 10, 11, and 12.
Vietnamese students have excelled in winning the A level championship when Pham Minh Chau, a student at Thanh Xuan Secondary School, surpassed the scores of candidates from other participating countries.

In addition, Pham Mai Dung, a student at Thanh Xuan Secondary School, won the Gold Medal at level B; Nguyen Tung Lam, a student at Thanh Xuan Secondary School, won the Silver Medal at level A; and Nguyen Ngoc Quynh Giang, a student at Thanh Xuan Secondary School, won the Bronze Medal at level B.
Speaking after the award ceremony, Head of the WYMO Vietnam delegation, Dr. Do Viet Tuan, said that today's achievements are the result of the students' serious training, continuous hard work and burning passion for mathematics. WYMO is not only a competition, but also an opportunity for Vietnamese students to exchange, broaden their horizons and confidently integrate with international friends.
WYMO 2025 is not just about medals, but also leaves in the hearts of each Vietnamese contestant beautiful memories of team spirit, sharing and the desire to conquer knowledge. The image of students confidently winning the competition affirms their ability, bravery and level at the world youth mathematics playground.
