On March 6, Mr. Nguyen Thien Van - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee - said that based on the proposal of the Department ofEducation and Training and Buon Ma Thuot City People's Committee, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee agreed to let students of all levels, including preschool children in this city, have a day off from school on March 10, 2025.

According to Mr. Van, allowing preschool children, primary school students and continuing education students to take a day off on March 10 is to ensure security and traffic safety during the organization of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot Victory and the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival. At the same time, it creates conditions for children to participate in these activities to achieve the best results.

The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Education and Training and the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City to direct affiliated educational institutions to develop appropriate make-up teaching plans for students who will be absent from school on March 10, 2025, ensuring proper implementation of the 2024-2025 school year plan.
