Support capacity building for disabled youth, community reintegration youth, and ethnic minority youth

Today, February 12, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province issued a Program to support capacity building for disabled youth, community reintegration youth, and ethnic minority youth for the period 2025 - 2030.

The program aims to provide 100% of ethnic minority students in educational institutions and vocational training institutions with career guidance and knowledge and skills on entrepreneurship before graduation. 75% of disabled youth, reintegrated youth, and ethnic minority youth are educated , informed, and have access to information, guidelines, policies of the Party, and regimes, policies, and laws of the State.

Every year, organize health check-ups, consultations and free medicine for at least 1,000 disabled youth, reintegrated youth, and ethnic minority youth. Support loans and transfer of new science, techniques, and technology to at least 30 start-up models and projects; organize 2 vocational training courses associated with job creation for disabled youth, reintegrated youth, and ethnic minority youth.

Organize 2 activities to meet, encourage, and provide psychological support for disabled youth and youth reintegrating into the community. 60% of ethnic minority youth are given the opportunity to participate in cultural, artistic, sports, and community activities at their places of study, work, and residence.

Beneficiaries of the program are from 16 to 30 years old, in one or more cases: people with one or more body parts or functional impairment manifested as a disability that makes work, daily life, and study difficult; people who have completed serving a prison sentence according to a court decision, and have been granted a Certificate of completion of prison sentence by a competent authority; ethnic minorities as prescribed in Article 4, Decree 05/2011/ND-CP, dated January 14, 2011 of the Government on ethnic affairs and the List of Vietnamese ethnic groups issued under Decision No. 121-TCTK/PPCĐ, dated March 2, 1979 of the General Director of the General Statistics Office.
