Thailand Coach: Will beat Vietnam to give New Year gift to fans

Before the tournament started, I told the players that we would win all 8 matches, but now we cannot do that. However, the Thai team must win the remaining 2 matches and win the championship.”

Coach Masatada Ishii hopes that more Thai fans will come to cheer for the second leg of the final. He promised that the Thai team will win the championship as a gift for the fans at the beginning of the new year.

We have one last home match (second leg final). I believe that more fans will come to cheer than today. The Thai team will give the fans a New Year's gift on that day," coach Masatada Ishii affirmed.

According to the schedule, the Thai team will play away at Viet Tri Stadium on January 2nd in the first leg of the final. Three days later, the Vietnamese team will play at Thailand's Rajamangala Stadium in the second leg of the final.
