"I am very happy that U23 Vietnam won U23 Indonesia. This is the third consecutive U23 Southeast Asian championship for U23 Vietnam. The players did not give up, fighting until the last minute. Congratulations to the players, congratulations to the fans, I am very proud of my players. The stadium was mainly filled with Indonesian fans but the players still maintained their fighting spirit," the Korean strategist expressed.

Regarding intentionally arranging water bottles at the end of the match and receiving a yellow card, coach Kim Sang-sik explained: "The weather was very hot, we arranged the water bottles like that so that the players could drink water conveniently, I had no other intention."

Although U23 Vietnam won the Southeast Asian championship, coach Kim Sang-sik still pointed out the problems that his players need to overcome. He analyzed: "I want the players to improve their experience and ability after winning the Southeast Asian championship. The next two tournaments are very important and I want them to perform their best to achieve the final goal."

Meanwhile, Mr. Gerald Vanenburg, head coach of U23 Indonesia expressed: “I think it was a difficult match. We really had chances, but conceded a goal from a set piece. But honestly, I believe the players played their best. They worked very hard. I am proud of the players. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose. But we will prepare for the next tournament."
