Becamex Binh Duong Club attracted many new faces for the 2024-2025 season in the meeting on July 8. Accordingly, at least 5 domestic players joined the Southeast club. Meanwhile, Nguyen Hai Huy said goodbye to the team after 2 seasons wearing Becamex Binh Duong's shirt.
Notably, the name Phan Thanh Hau is the most familiar to Vietnamese football fans. Two seasons ago, Thanh Hau played for Quang Nam Club in the V-League.
Phan Thanh Hau is known by many as "top 40 young talents in the world ". However, being only 1m70 tall and "thin" makes it difficult for Thanh Hau to compete despite his good technique.
The midfielder born in 1997 has signed a contract with the new team and has been selected by coach Nguyen Anh Duc. He will be a replacement for the position of the departing midfielder Nguyen Hai Huy.
Hai Huy left Binh Duong Club after 2 seasons with 36 matches in V-League 2023-2024 and 2024-2025. The midfielder born in 1991 scored 2 goals, one in the national championship and one in the national cup.
Besides Phan Thanh Hau, the newest name to join Binh Duong Stadium, Coach Anh Duc also brought in three other faces: Cao Quoc Khanh, Vu Viet Trieu and Nguyen Trong Hung.
These new recruits have already reached an agreement with the team nicknamed "Vietnamese Chelsea". The rest is just waiting for the announcement date, or to be introduced when the team holds a season launch ceremony.
Binh Duong Club promises to have many changes in personnel when Coach Anh Duc makes drastic changes. The team will have a more youthful and vibrant color than last year.
