In the first 6 months of 2024, the total food output of Na Hang district reached over 8,900 tons, reaching 46.2% of the plan; the total output of exploitation and aquaculture reached 1,253 tons, reaching 54.3% of the plan. Up to now, the whole district has 2 products granted geographical indications (Shan Tuyet Na Hang tea, Na Hang leaf-fermented corn wine), 29 products have been granted OCOP certification, 15 products have been protected by product trademarks, 18 products have been granted certificates of production according to VietGAP standards...
Total retail sales of goods and services reached over 1,124 billion VND, reaching 50.2% of the plan. The whole district attracted over 353,000 tourists , reaching 100.9% of the plan; creating jobs for over 1,800 workers, reaching 100.2% of the plan, up 60.7% over the same period.
In terms of culture and society , 100% of communes and towns maintain universal education at all levels; participate in the VEX Robotics National Championship 2024 in Hanoi; actively coordinate the organization of high school graduation exams, junior high school graduation exams and admission to grade 10 high school; medical examination and treatment are always focused on from the grassroots to the district level, and poverty reduction and social protection work are well implemented.
At the meeting, the District People's Council approved 4 draft Resolutions on: Finalizing the State budget revenue and local budget expenditure in 2023; Adjusting the content and plan of State budget capital to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in 2024 in Na Hang district, Tuyen Quang province; Adjusting the content and plan of State budget capital to implement the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas in 2024 in Na Hang district; Assigning additional plans for State budget capital to implement Project 1 Supporting Investment in Socio-Economic Development under the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in Na Hang district in 2024.
