Anh Duc's last time with Binh Phuoc Club
As Thanh Nien Newspaper reported on the morning of February 28, Coach Nguyen Anh Duc decided to say goodbye to Binh Phuoc Club for personal reasons.
Binh Phuoc Club announced: "This was not an easy decision, carefully considered between Coach Anh Duc and the Club's leadership. Despite receiving trust and the desire to continue to stick with the team, but stemming from self-respect and the regret in keeping the honorable promise from the beginning of the season, and more importantly from the desire to see the Club develop even stronger, Coach Anh Duc discussed and agreed with the Club's leadership that this was the right decision, aiming for a good future for both parties."

The former striker of the Vietnamese national team will leave the "hot seat" after the match between Binh Phuoc and PVF-CAND in round 11 of the 2024-2025 first division, taking place at 6:00 p.m. today (March 1). The match with PVF-CAND will preserve the last memories, closing 2 seasons of coach Anh Duc accompanying the Southeast team.
To express gratitude to coach Anh Duc, the leadership of Binh Phuoc team decided to call on fans to fill Binh Phuoc stadium. "In this meaningful match, let's join together, with all our passionate hearts, to fill the 'Green Storm' base to thank coach Anh Duc, to express our respect for the contributions he has brought to the team. Farewell is not the end, but the opening of a new chapter", Binh Phuoc club announced.
Since the beginning of the tournament, Binh Phuoc Stadium has welcomed thousands of spectators to each match. The ambition to be promoted and the appearance of a series of former players such as Cong Phuong, Tuan Tai, Thanh Binh, Tan Truong have helped Binh Phuoc Club attract the attention of fans like a magnet.
After 9 matches, Binh Phuoc Club has 20 points, ranking second in the table. Coach Anh Duc and his team are 10 points behind the leading team Ninh Binh (played 1 match less), but at the same time, Binh Phuoc has let PVF-CAND catch up (equal points, same number of matches, ranked higher due to better goal difference).
To keep second place, Binh Phuoc Club needs at least a draw.
