On April 16 and 17, the Hue City Farmers' Association coordinated with the Hue City Political Center to organize training and professional development for the Association's work in 2024. The training course had the participation of 266 grassroots officials of the Association, who are the Presidents, Vice Presidents of the Farmers' Association, and Branch Heads of the Farmers' Associations of communes and wards in the city.

At the training course, grassroots cadres of the Association in Hue City were informed by Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Thua Thien Hue Province Nguyen Chi Quang about many contents such as: Resolution No. 46-NQ/TW dated December 20, 2023 of the Politburo on innovation and improving the quality of activities of the Vietnam Farmers' Association to meet the requirements of revolutionary tasks in the new period; Resolution of the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Association; Basic contents of the Charter of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, 8th term.
Delegates also heard Vice Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Thua Thien Hue province Phan Xuan Nam inform about Decision No. 182/QD-TTg dated February 20, 2024 of the Prime Minister on approving the project "Vietnam Farmers' Association participates in collective economic development in agriculture until 2030"; Decree No. 77/2009/ND-CP dated October 10, 2009 of the Government on Cooperatives; Decision 181-QD/HNDTW dated February 20, 2024 of the Central Vietnam Farmers' Association on promulgating regulations on recognizing the title of good farmer households in production and business at all levels...

In addition, grassroots cadres of the Association participating in the training course also had the opportunity to go on field trips to learn about typical models of Farmers' Associations at all levels.
The training course helps Farmers' Association officials at all levels in Hue City improve their knowledge, skills, and professional work of the Association to effectively carry out the Association's tasks in the locality.
By being equipped with basic knowledge, the staff of the Farmers' Association at all levels in Hue City will flexibly and creatively apply it in organizing and implementing the tasks of the Association and the farmers' movement, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new situation...
