(Dan Tri) - The Ministry of Health mobilized thousands of medical staff to join hundreds of medical teams on duty in all areas, from central areas to places where parades passed through.

The parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is a major event that is eagerly awaited by the people of the whole country. The Ministry of Health also developed a plan to ensure medical work.

Dr. Ha Anh Duc, Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management (Ministry of Health ), said that the Ministry of Health has issued plan No. 1105 covering all areas related to health such as ensuring food safety, epidemic prevention, possible situations, including issues related to disasters.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Health, in coordination with the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security , and the Hanoi People's Committee, directed medical examination and treatment facilities to ensure emergency and medical examination and treatment on standby during the celebration.

Specifically, the organization arranges medical teams to provide emergency care, medical examination and treatment, and health care for delegates, guests, and service staff. At the same time, promptly detect cases of infectious diseases.

Some hospitals have 5-10 beds ready in case of an emergency.

"We try to arrange mobile medical teams in medical tents to ensure that when people have problems that require simple emergency care, they can get primary health care.

These medical teams will also be able to carry out their tasks immediately or guide support forces to take people to the nearest medical facility if the medical tents cannot handle the situation," said Dr. Duc.

The Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management also recommends that people install the A80 application on their smartphones to know the location of medical staff on duty.

For the elderly, those with one or more underlying diseases, should find suitable locations to watch the parade, parade or stay home to listen to the radio, watch TV. People with chronic diseases must also comply with treatment, if they are taking medication, must ensure to take the full dose.

"If you are healthy enough to go out, you should try to drink enough water and have protection from the sun and rain. When you feel signs of declining health, ask for support from the authorities, try to proactively leave crowded places early and proactively ensure your health in all situations...", Dr. Duc noted.

Preliminary review: 8:00 p.m., August 27.

Rehearsal: 6:30 a.m. August 30.

- 6:30: Traditional torch procession.

- 6:45: Flag salute ceremony.

- 6:50: Statement of reasons, introduction of delegates.

- 7:05: Speeches of Party and State leaders.

- From 7:45: Parade program.

- 9:45 to 10:00: The art performance ends.
