Ignoring the exam score percentile table with complicated formulas, Can Tho University and Ho Chi Minh City Open University provide a tool to quickly convert V-SAT exam scores to high school graduation exam scores.
In 2025, 10 universities will organize the University Entrance Assessment Test (V-SAT) to obtain university admission scores. 18 universities will use V-SAT results for admission. At Can Tho University alone, this university will organize 6 exam sessions with more than 28,000 candidates taking the exam.
V-SAT score data is unified by universities that organize the exam in percentiles. Conversion to high school graduation exam scores can be applied to all schools.
Saigon University applies different coefficients to subjects in the admission combination, so it is necessary to calculate according to the school's formula.
Candidates can convert their V-SAT scores to high school graduation exam scores HERE or HERE.
Just select the V-SAT exam subject, enter the exam score, the tool will convert it to the high school graduation exam score for reference when applying for university admission - Screenshot
The V-SAT exam consists of 8 independent subjects, including: math, physics, chemistry, biology, English, history, geography and literature. The exam content closely follows the current general education program.
Candidates take the objective test for each subject independently on the computer. The test structure has 4 types of questions: true/false multiple choice, pair comparison multiple choice, 4-choice multiple choice and short answer or essay.
This structure is quite similar to the multiple choice test format of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
V-SAT test results are used by 18 universities for admission.
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , universities must convert scores of competency assessment exams, thinking assessment exams, and V-SAT to a 30-point scale when considering admission. Universities have quite complicated and inconsistent conversion formulas. Some schools do not convert.
