Two students become new members of Can Tho City Writers Association

(CT) - On July 18, the Can Tho City Writers Association held a ceremony to admit three new members. Among them, two students studying in Can Tho City were admitted: Lu Gia Kiet (pen name Lu Giang) and Nguyen Duy Minh (Minh Ngoc). The remaining new member is Nguyen Van Chinh (Chinh Van), a retired literature teacher.

Poet Nguyen Trung Nguyen, Chairman of the Can Tho City Writers Association, said: The two newly admitted student members were discovered from the Can Tho City poetry contest celebrating the summary of Vietnamese literature and art after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). This is a good sign, aiming to supplement young resources for Can Tho literature, especially searching and nurturing from students of schools in the city.

Since the beginning of the year, the Can Tho City Writers Association has organized many professional activities, organized poetry competitions and launched poetry publications to summarize Vietnamese literature and art after the country's reunification. Many enthusiastic members have launched many works, which have been well received by the public.
