At Luong The Vinh Secondary School, Dinh Hong Ngoc Chau presented 6 LG TVs from 65 inches to 86 inches to the school, worth 100 million VND, and awarded scholarships to 30 poor students who overcame difficulties, each student received 1 million VND and a gift.
At Nguyen Kim Vang Primary School, Dinh Hong Minh Chau presented 13 desktop computers and 1 printer to the school, worth more than 100 million VND, and 50 scholarships to 50 students in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND and a gift.
The total value of gifts, goods and scholarships for each school is 150 million VND. This is the amount of money that Ngoc Chau and Minh Chau sisters have raised from companies and businesses in Vietnam and the United States for many years, with the aim of helping poor students.
Dinh Hong Ngoc Chau said that the two sisters are continuing to raise funds to continue donating teaching equipment to schools next year as well as awarding scholarships to poor students in Phu Yen , with the hope that they will have better learning conditions.
