Hanoi encourages socialization in organizing swimming lessons for students.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just issued a plan to implement work to prevent injuries and drowning for children and students in the Hanoi Department of Education and Training in the 2024-2025 school year.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will organize a city student swimming competition and launch a movement to practice swimming and prevent drowning accidents.

The industry's plan aims to promote communication and education activities to raise awareness and responsibility of officials, teachers, parents and students on preventing and combating accidents and drowning for children and students; forming habits and skills to proactively prevent accidents and drowning and a swimming practice movement for students to improve their health and protect themselves from drowning accidents.

At the same time, the plan also aims to equip staff and teachers with the capacity to organize and guide students and children with knowledge and skills to prevent accidents, injuries, and drowning in daily life and activities; knowledge and skills to teach safe swimming and first aid for common accidents and injuries.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training also identified key tasks and solutions for the 2024-2025 school year on preventing and combating student injuries. Accordingly, the Department will organize a citywide student swimming competition and launch a movement to practice swimming and prevent drowning accidents.

Along with that, the Department strengthens training to improve professional and technical capacity; guides skills to prevent injuries and drowning for staff and swimming teachers in kindergartens and general schools.

To effectively implement the above contents, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requests that the Departments of Education and Training and schools develop plans and propose solutions suitable to actual conditions to effectively implement the work of preventing and combating accidents and drowning for children and students; focusing on equipping children and students with knowledge and skills, forming habits of self-awareness and proactive prevention of accidents and injuries, especially drowning accidents.
