At 0:00 on September 17, the water level of Ca Lo River at Manh Tan hydrological station dropped to 6.95m, 7m below alert level II.

Implementing regulations on flood warnings, on the morning of September 17, the Hanoi City Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue issued Order No. 82/L-BCH on withdrawing level II flood warning on the Ca Lo River.

The Hanoi City Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue requested the two districts of Soc Son and Dong Anh to strictly implement regulations when the flood warning on the Ca Lo River is withdrawn.

Previously, based on the water level of the Cau River, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue of Hanoi City issued Order No. 81/L-BCH to withdraw the level II flood warning on the Cau River in the riverside communes of Soc Son district.

Although the water level of Cau River and Ca Lo River has dropped below alert level II, it is still above alert level I. The Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Hanoi City warns that the flooding situation is still complicated; localities along the river, especially in Soc Son district, need to continue to closely monitor floods on the rivers to proactively respond.
