Ha Giang organizes Media Festival 2024

The Media Festival is an event in a series of activities of Ha Giang province in response to the National Digital Transformation Day on October 10; at the same time, it aims to vividly convey practical contents about the role, significance and benefits of digital transformation through two discussion sessions on: Outstanding marks on digital transformation and online contest on digital transformation of Ha Giang province in 2024; press and media propaganda on digital transformation, innovation of digital content, information, propaganda to spread the image of Ha Giang.

The Media Festival is also a forum for meeting and sharing creative and effective ways of communicating about digital transformation. This is an opportunity to honor collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing digital transformation, journalism, digital communication and awarding prizes to collectives and individuals who won prizes in the online contest on digital transformation in Ha Giang province in 2024.

Speaking at the media festival, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province Nguyen Van Son believed that the spirit of digital transformation will continue to spread widely, further enhancing awareness of the role, position and importance of digital transformation to each cadre, party member, civil servant, public employee, people and businesses; Spreading the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, determination to leave no one behind in the digital transformation process; Creating momentum and motivation in the whole society to promote fast and sustainable digital transformation.

The Party Committee and government of Ha Giang province are committed to continuing to lead and direct the synchronous, drastic and effective implementation of digital transformation; pioneering and actively contributing to the successful implementation of the Government 's Program on national digital transformation to 2025, with a vision to 2030, affirmed Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province Nguyen Van Son.

Also on this occasion, Ha Giang province called for contributions from the business community, organizations, individuals, and philanthropists to join hands to contribute and support overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, building houses to stabilize the lives of more than 1,400 households that need to relocate due to the impact of floods, landslides in 21 natural disasters from the beginning of 2024 to present.

At the Media Festival, many groups and individuals received Certificates of Merit from Ha Giang province for their achievements in digital transformation and communication to spread the image of Ha Giang.
