Speaking at the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement with NutiFood held today in Ho Chi Minh City, golf legend Greg Norman, who is also the Vietnam Tourism Ambassador, said that he was drawn to Vietnam through golf course projects.
Greg Norman, nicknamed the white shark, is the designer of 3 leading golf courses in Vietnam, of which Ho Tram Golf Course was ranked 35th in the 100 best golf courses in the world. KN Golf Links Cam Ranh Golf Course was awarded the most beautiful golf course in Asia in 2018…
“There are many places in Vietnam with beautiful terrain that can be used for golf courses. I have about 27 such locations and will soon develop 6 to 7 courses. Having many golf courses will not only help develop this sport but also attract international tourists,” said Greg Norman.
Greg Norman also said that Vietnam also has many talented young golfers and his goal is to support the development of more talents in Vietnam as he did in the US.
“On February 19 at KN Golf Links Cam Ranh, I had a friendly match with three young Vietnamese golf talents, including Nguyen Bao Long (14 years old), Tran Lam (15 years old), and Nguyen Anh Tuan (21 years old), and I realized that they have great potential to develop to the top. Tomorrow (March 21) in Hanoi, I will continue to have a meeting with young talents aged 8-9-10 to inspire them. I will devote myself to developing golf in Vietnam, starting with the golf movement for children,” Greg Norman shared.
