On June 15, speaking with Ha Tinh Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Viet Phuong - Head of Road Management Office II.3 (QLDB II Area, Vietnam Road Administration) said: Thang Long Project Management Board and the contractor of Bai Vot - Ham Nghi expressway project have adjusted and supplemented traffic signs installed at the expressway intersection with provincial road 548 in Dong Loc town, Can Loc district.

Specifically, the two signs indicating the direction to Bai Vot - Ham Nghi expressway installed on provincial road 548 have added the place names "Vinh/ Hanoi City" and "Quang Binh/Ho Chi Minh City", instead of just the general content "CT.01 Bai Vot - Ham Nghi" as before.

At the same time, at the branch road leading to the expressway intersection, the functional unit also installed a 40 km/h speed limit sign to ensure safety for vehicles while moving.

Previously, the traffic signs installed at the two entrances to the expressway intersection with Provincial Road 548 in Dong Loc town, Can Loc district, had similar content, stating only “CT.01 Bai Vot - Ham Nghi”, making it difficult for drivers to determine the correct entrance to go North or South. The unclear signs at the two entrances led to many difficulties for drivers in determining the correct direction of travel. Many drivers mistakenly drove their vehicles in reverse or turned around to go in the opposite direction at the entrance, posing many potential risks of traffic accidents.

Ha Tinh Electronic Newspaper once published an article "Signs at the expressway intersection through Ha Tinh still "puzzle" drivers" with content reflecting the inadequacies at the two entrances of the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi expressway intersection with provincial road 548 in Dong Loc town, Can Loc district.

While the sign at the highway intersection with Provincial Road 548 in Dong Loc town, Can Loc district has been adjusted, the problem at the highway intersection with National Highway 8 in Thanh Binh Thinh commune, Duc Tho district, has not changed.

The sign installed at the new National Highway 8 intersection only has the name Dien Chau - Bai Vot expressway, while it also leads to Bai Vot - Ham Nghi expressway.

From the expressway intersection with Highway 8, vehicles can move onto two expressways: Dien Chau - Bai Vot and Bai Vot - Ham Nghi, but currently, on the sign at the entrance, there is only the name Dien Chau - Bai Vot expressway. This problem makes drivers who want to go onto Bai Vot - Ham Nghi expressway feel confused and have to "ask again and again" many people before daring to move their vehicles.

Highway interchange with Highway 8.

The Road Management Office II.3 has sent a document urging Phuc Thanh Hung Investment Joint Stock Company - the enterprise of Dien Chau - Bai Vot Expressway project to make the supplement soon. However, up to now, this unit has not made any adjustment.
