On the afternoon of June 16, Ky Anh district held a working session to agree on the staffing and number of employees at schools for the 2025-2026 school year.
As reported by Ha Tinh Newspaper, in the past 2 school years, Ky Anh district has mobilized 44education and administrative officials from the following areas: Ky Van, Ky Tan, Ky Hai, Phong Bac... to schools in the upper Ky Anh area to perform tasks, in order to solve the shortage of teachers. Specifically, in the 2023-2024 school year, there were 18 cases and in the 2024-2025 school year, there were 26 cases.
Many teachers "stuck" in the upper Ky Anh area
At the meeting, leaders of specialized departments and schools informed about the staffing situation, legal regulations related to staffing, staff mobilization, transfer plans... as well as difficulties in the regular shortage of teachers in the upper district of Ky Anh.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of Ky Anh District People's Committee Vo Ta Cuong affirmed: The temporary transfer and assignment of teachers and administrative staff to schools in remote areas and schools with difficulties in staffing is to meet teaching and learning requirements and ensure the rights of students.
For 44 teachers currently on temporary assignment, the District People's Committee will issue a decision to assign them to work at their old or neighboring units in June 2025. Of which, 26 cases assigned from September 2024 will continue to be assigned for a period of 1 year, then will return to their old schools to continue working. All policies and regimes will be accepted by the teachers at their old schools, and they will only come to teach at their assigned schools.
