Attending the program were representatives of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Zunyi City, Mr. Truong Duc Son, Director of the Chinese Cultural Center in Hanoi , and tourism businesses and organizations of the two countries.
In her opening speech, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa Mai, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, affirmed that the exchange program is a vivid demonstration of the close cooperation relationship between the two countries and at the same time opens up opportunities for management agencies, businesses and tourism organizations to enhance mutual understanding, seek opportunities for cooperation, and jointly develop rich, high-quality tourism products.

In the first 6 months of 2025, Vietnam welcomed more than 2.7 million Chinese visitors, an increase of 44% over the same period in 2024, accounting for the largest proportion of the total number of international visitors to Vietnam.
On the other hand, the number of Vietnamese tourists traveling to China has also increased sharply, with Guangxi, Yunnan, Guangdong and Guizhou provinces being particularly popular destinations.
Representative of the Chinese Cultural Center in Hanoi, Mr. Truong Duc Son shared that Vietnam and China have always been closely connected. In recent years, under the strategic guidance of the two countries' senior leaders, the Vietnam-China friendship has continuously developed deeply and extensively, adding vitality to the close bond through generations. The two countries have been strengthening cooperation in preserving cultural heritage within the framework of initiatives such as "Belt and Road", "Two Corridors, One Belt"; implementing cross-border tourism routes; organizing programs to exchange intangible cultural heritage, and humanistic exchanges between scholars and youth. These efforts are writing a new emotional chapter about "mountains connecting mountains, rivers connecting rivers, and cultural communication".

2025 marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations and is also the “Year of Vietnam-China Cultural Exchange”. On this meaningful occasion, the Chinese Cultural Center in Hanoi affirms that it will continue to be an active bridge to promote cultural and tourism exchanges and cooperation between localities of the two countries.
The exchange program is an opportunity to use culture as the boat, tourism as the sail, and friendship as the oar, to spread together unique Chinese-charming Vietnamese stories.

Zunyi City, located in the north of Guizhou Province (China), is known as an outstanding ecological city, honored by UNESCO many times. This is home to the Danxia Chishui World Natural Heritage with brilliant red cliffs blending with waterfalls and springs; is the hometown of the Songhe Cave system - the longest underground cave in Asia; is the "homeland of Chinese tea" with vast tea fields, creating a magnificent natural picture.
Besides, Zunyi is also famous for its Maotai wine and unique indigenous culture, attracting domestic and foreign tourists.

In 2024, the number of eco-tourists visiting Zunyi exceeded 80 million, with international visitors increasing by 45%. On this occasion, high-end tourist routes exclusively for Vietnamese tourists in 2025 were also introduced.
At the program, representatives of the Truong Chinh Guizhou Culture and Tourism Group signed a memorandum of cooperation with a number of Vietnamese travel companies to promote specific cooperation between businesses in the coming time.
Within the framework of cultural and tourism cooperation between the two countries, Vietnam plans to organize many events to introduce tourism and cultural exchanges in Chinese localities such as Shanghai, Suzhou, Nanjing, Chengdu, Chongqing and Beijing. Thereby, continuing to deepen the friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and China on the basis of people-to-people exchange and strong cultural connections.
