Meeting on political and ideological work in the People's Public Security in 2024

On the morning of December 12, the Ministry of Public Security held a conference to review political and ideological work in the People's Public Security (Public Security) in 2024 and disseminate the topic "Vietnam People's Army - 80 years of building, fighting, winning and growing up". Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security chaired the conference. In 2024, political and ideological work in the People's Public Security Forces basically completed the set goals and tasks. Political and ideological activities, education on moral qualities, lifestyle, traditions of the nation and the People's Public Security Forces had a wide-reaching influence, raising awareness of Party committees, leaders, commanders at all levels and cadres and soldiers about the political qualities and sense of responsibility of the People's Public Security Forces. At the conference, representatives of the Propaganda Department (Ministry of Public Security) presented the topic "Vietnam People's Army - 80 years of building, fighting, winning and growing up". This is an opportunity to review the heroic history of the nation, the fine traditions, and the glorious feats of arms of our Army and People on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024).

In the coming time, the Public Security of localities will step up propaganda activities about the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party in the People's Public Security; strengthen the work of grasping and resolving the ideological situation of cadres, soldiers and public opinion in the process of continuing to rearrange the organization and apparatus within units and localities to be lean, compact and strong; resolutely fight, push back and prevent all signs of degradation in political ideology, moral qualities and lifestyle; promptly fight against erroneous and hostile viewpoints, ensure security and order to serve the work of organizing Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
