Singer Giang Hong Ngoc said she received the song from musician Tuno (Nguyen Manh Tuan) - author of the song "I am a star" that the female singer once performed.

The first time she heard the song "Love for the homeland", Giang Hong Ngoc was filled with emotions and a strong love for her homeland. The female singer decided to record this song and planned to make a MV.

"The lyrics in "Love for the Homeland" are full of emotion but not sorrowful, as if telling the story of people going through storms and floods. This year, not only our country but the whole world has to face natural disasters. Musician Tuno's song is like a message of sharing and encouragement sent to our compatriots after storms and floods," Giang Hong Ngoc shared.

Musician Tuno is also the author of songs with community meaning such as "Sai Gon, keep going". This song was composed by him, dedicated to Giang Hong Ngoc. Therefore, the female singer is extremely respectful and decided to start making the MV for the song within just 1 week.

Giang Hong Ngoc said that during the recent storm and flood, she could not help but feel heartbroken when witnessing people struggling to cope with natural disasters, through which she also saw the solidarity and spirit of mutual love of the Vietnamese people is extremely strong.

The female singer confided that recently, not only she but everyone has had to face common difficulties. "If I have a hard time, there are others who have it worse. I tell myself that the difficulties I am facing cannot be as difficult as the period when I was 10 to 25 years old, penniless, homeless, in extreme crisis. I overcame that time, so now that I am more stable, have a house and a car, what more could I wish for?"

The MV "Love for the Homeland" was made by Giang Hong Ngoc at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum with the support of director Nguyen Hoang Tuan. The female singer said the reason she chose this setting was to borrow nostalgic beauty to highlight the spirit of patriotism and the beauty of her homeland.
