Viettel 5G seamlessly serves the parade, march and series of events on September 2

(Dan Tri) - In the jubilant atmosphere of the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, Viettel affirmed its ability to master technology, serving people at parades and marches and throughout the activities celebrating the great festival.

With continuous efforts, Viettel engineers continuously research and adjust plans to improve network quality after each practice session, preliminary rehearsal, parade rehearsal and official ceremony of the series of events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. Viettel's highest goal is to ensure the 5G network operates stably and smoothly throughout the parade and all activities celebrating National Day September 2.

Viettel representative said that Viettel mobile service quality in the practice sessions, preliminary rehearsal, final rehearsal and official ceremony all achieved excellent results. After each practice session, Viettel engineers made careful analysis and adjusted the plan to improve the network quality significantly compared to the previous practice day. The results showed that 4G and 5G network speed increased 1.5 times compared to previous days, the coverage was optimized in small areas to bring the smoothest experience to customers.

After the training session on August 21, more than 100 stations had their antenna angles adjusted to optimize coverage; on August 24, Viettel added 5 stations at Ba Dinh Square and 2 stations in Lieu Giai area. During the preliminary review on August 27, the BTS station at Le Duan was installed, while the configuration was upgraded and resources were added to 50 stations along Lieu Giai, Kim Ma, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Le Duan, and Trang Thi. These additions help ensure that the 5G transmission line is always stable even during the most crowded times.

Along with technical measures, more than 1,000 Viettel personnel were present at the location throughout the event, undertaking various tasks such as being on duty at the BTS station, operating the network, monitoring network quality, operating the BTS station, operating the network and handling incidents. This is an important technology logistics force, contributing to maintaining the quality of the 5G network at all times of the parade.

Previously, Viettel Network Corporation deployed a comprehensive combat plan with more than 2,400 technical solutions, including 500 new 5G stations, 700 temporary stations, 25 mobile broadcasting vehicles, and 1,200 5G smallcell stations located in crowded places.

A total of 1,700 large and small 5G stations cover the entire parade and marching routes, ensuring the speed, capacity and stability of the network, while sharing the load for the 4G network. Viettel simultaneously broadcasts both 5G SA and 5G NSA technologies. Of which, 5G SA operates independently, has low latency of only about 1ms and is 10 times faster than 4G, bringing a superior experience to people.

At the A80 event series, AI was strongly applied to predict movement behavior and crowded locations. The X-Optimization system combines AI to continuously refine coverage, redirect user devices to stations with excess capacity and reduce interference in neighboring areas.

Every 5 minutes, the network is optimized according to user behavior, ensuring the highest quality of service. Thanks to that, no matter which street in the parade, people can connect to Viettel's 5G network quickly and stably.
