Pickleball Kingtek International 2025, held for the first time in Malaysia, left a great impression on the international Pickleball community when attracting up to 700 players to compete.
The thoughtfulness and professionalism of the organizers (Kingtek and Baseline) brought athletes and fans from all over the world such as India, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, etc. unforgettable experiences at the Grand Pickleball Arena.
Businesswoman Madam Truyen (Phan Thi Thanh Truyen) - President of Kingtek Pickleball Club, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Kingtek International Pickleball Tournament 2025 shared: “As someone who is extremely passionate about Pickleball, I want to connect and spread this attractive sport to the community, not only in Vietnam but also with international friends.
The Head of the Organizing Committee expressed: “I have been accompanying the tournament for the past few days, even playing on the field. Truly, the tournament has left not only me but also everyone with many great matches, efforts to chase scores, spectacular victories, etc. Above all, it is the connection between athletes from different countries with the same passion for Pickleball”.
After exciting competitions, the Organizing Committee has determined the champions in each category.
At the Open, famous Indian tennis player Mayur Narayan Patil proved his class by winning the double championship in men's doubles and mixed doubles.
In the men's doubles, Mayur Narayan Patil and Malaysian host Colin Wong won easily against their opponents to advance to the final.
In the final, they faced off against the representative from Vietnam, Ho Vu Hoan/Pham Xuan Vu, who played very well in the previous rounds, but the talent of Mayur Narayan Patil helped him and his teammates win 2-0 to be crowned.
In the Open mixed doubles event, Mayur Narayan Patil and Karina Aditya Dwipayani also easily won the championship after a 2-0 victory over Izzul/Eugenia (Malaysia).
In the intermediate men's doubles, Phan Ngoc Anh Tu/Tran Nhat Anh (Kingtek Club) excellently won the championship when defeating Lim Chin Long/Lin Huan Lin (Malaysia) in the final with a score of 2-0 (11/6, 11/4).
Phan Ngoc Anh Tu, with his top performance, also won the intermediate mixed doubles championship. He and Thuy Le defeated Law Wei Sang/Lim Yin Loo (Malaysia) in the final with a score of 2-0 (11/4, 11/6).
The Novice category for players with a dupr score below 3.2 attracted many athletes to participate and also witnessed many surprising results.
The pair Hoang Nu Thuc Anh/Phan Thuong excellently defeated a series of opponents to win the right to enter the final and won the championship after a "breathtaking" 2-1 victory over the host pair Malaysia Bao Bao/Cheah Pei Yi.
The Novive men's doubles championship went to Kino/Dickson (Malaysia).
