U20 Thai Son Nam HCMC and U20 Thai Son Bac affirmed their strength as candidates for the 2024 National U20 Futsal Championship with a big win in the second match of the group stage.
On the evening of September 6, at Thai Son Nam Stadium - District 8 (HCMC), the second round of the group stage of the 2024 National U20 Futsal Tournament took place.
Continuing the excitement after the victory on the opening day, U20 Thai Son Nam HCMC continued to affirm its position as one of the strongest Futsal training centers in the country when it defeated the rookie U20 Ha Long with a score of 5-0. Of the 5 goals scored by Nguyen Bao Trung and his team, Tuan Viet scored a double, while the remaining goals were scored by Hoang Phong, Ba Thai and Le Bo.
Winning 6 absolute points with 12 goals scored, U20 Thai Son Nam HCMC firmly built the top position in Group A. In the remaining match of this group, U20 Hanoi got the first 3 points thanks to a 4-2 victory over the amateur team U20 An Phu. The representative from the capital temporarily rose to second place when surpassing the champion U20 Saigon Titans in terms of additional index.
In Group B, after the first break, U20 Thai Son Bac had an impressive opening match when they defeated U20 Quang Nam 7-0. With 3 points, the runners-up are temporarily in second place when they are ahead of U20 Sahako in terms of additional index. Because in the remaining match, U20 Dat Vinh Tien defeated U20 Sahako with a result of 4-1 to take the lead with 4 points.
In this second round, U20 Saigon Titans (Group A) and Tan Hiep Hung (Group B) are the two teams that will be rested. The next round of the 2024 National U20 Futsal Tournament will take place on September 8.
