Table Tennis Tournament to raise funds "For community health"

Nearly 45 million VND from the "For Community Health" Fundraising Table Tennis Tournament will be used for humanitarian activities for the community in Ha Tinh .

On the afternoon of June 11, Ha Tinh Police held the closing ceremony of the Open Internal Affairs Table Tennis Tournament to raise funds "For community health".

Attending the closing ceremony were Colonel Nguyen Hong Phong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department; representatives of leaders of units in the provincial Internal Affairs sector and athletes participating in the tournament.

The Open Table Tennis Tournament of the Internal Affairs Sector to raise funds for "For Community Health" kicked off on the morning of June 11, a practical activity to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Uncle Ho's call for patriotic emulation (June 11, 1948 - June 11, 2023); 66 years since Uncle Ho visited Ha Tinh (June 15, 1957 - June 15, 2023). This is an opportunity for officers and soldiers in the Internal Affairs Sector of the province to exchange and learn experiences in sports training and competition; strengthen the spirit of solidarity, cohesion, create a core nucleus to develop the movement, thereby contributing to building a strong and comprehensive agency and unit.

The tournament had 37 athletes from the provincial Internal Affairs sector, competing in the following categories: Men's leadership doubles, men's doubles age group 18 - 35, men's doubles age group over 36, mixed doubles regardless of age group, men's singles age group 18 - 35, men's singles age group over 36, women's singles regardless of age group.

... and give the audience many interesting and exciting plays.

After a day of exciting competition, with the spirit of fair and noble sportsmanship, athletes from units in the provincial Internal Affairs sector competed with all their might, giving the audience many good and attractive football plays, achieving high professional quality and no less tension and fierceness.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded first, second, third and consolation prizes in 7 competition categories to the athletes.

Colonel Nguyen Hong Phong - Director of the Provincial Police awarded first, second and third prizes in the men's singles category.

Through the launching of the fundraising movement "For community health" at the tournament, the Organizing Committee received nearly 45 million VND from contributions from delegates and athletes participating in the tournament.

All of the above donations will be used for humanitarian activities for the community in Ha Tinh in the coming time.
