Previously, at the opening, the price of SJC gold bars increased by 700,000 VND/tael (buying price) and 200,000 VND/tael (selling price). Thus, compared to the end of last week, the price of SJC gold bars decreased by 200,000 VND/tael and 700,000 VND/tael, respectively.
Meanwhile, the price of gold rings increased. Saigon Jewelry Company Limited set it at 113.9 million VND/tael (buy) - 116.4 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 200,000 VND/tael each afternoon compared to the same morning.
Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company increased by 1 million VND/tael (buying) and 200,000 VND/tael (selling), to 115 million VND/tael (buying) - 117 million VND/tael (selling).
Meanwhile, Phu Quy Group increased by 300,000 VND/tael each way, to 114.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 117.5 million VND/tael (sell).
Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited set the price at 116.3 million VND/tael (buy) - 119.3 million VND/tael (sell).
This morning, some places kept the price of gold rings unchanged, some increased by 200,000 VND/tael. Thus, compared to last weekend, the price of gold rings is 200,000-1,000,000 VND/tael higher (buying price) and 200,000-500,000 VND/tael higher (selling price).
On the international market, at 4:00 p.m., the gold price was trading at 3,417.8 USD/ounce, down significantly from 3,441 USD/ounce the same morning. The converted world gold price was about 11.3 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
