Gold price 8-21: Gold bars and gold rings skyrocket to new peaks

The world gold price today, August 21, reversed and decreased slightly after surpassing the threshold of 3,340 USD/ounce, trading at 3,336.5 USD/ounce. Domestically, the price of SJC gold bars and gold rings simultaneously set new records, listed at 125.4 million VND/tael and 119.8 million VND/tael, respectively; Doji gold rings increased to 120.3 million VND/tael.

In today's trading session, the prices of gold bars and gold rings of domestic brands increased sharply, setting new records. World gold prices turned downward.

Specifically, at 11:30 a.m. on August 21, Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) listed the buying and selling price of SJC gold bars at 124.4-125.4 million VND/tael, an increase of 600,000 VND per tael for both buying and selling compared to the previous session. The difference between buying and selling was 1 million VND.

Meanwhile, DOJI gold bar price in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City was bought at 124.4 million VND/tael and sold at 125.4 million VND/tael, an increase of 600 thousand VND per tael in both buying and selling compared to the previous session.

This brand listed the price of Doji Hung Thinh Vuong 9999 gold ring at 117.3-120.3 million VND/tael (buy-sell), an increase of 300 thousand VND/tael for buying and 100 thousand VND/tael for selling compared to yesterday.

PNJ Gold listed buying price at 117.3 million VND/tael and selling price at 120.3 million VND/tael, an increase of 300 thousand VND per tael in both buying and selling price compared to the previous session.

As of 11:30 a.m. on August 21 (Vietnam time), the world gold price decreased by 9.8 USD/ounce compared to the previous session to 3,336.5 USD/ounce.
