According to Cho Moi Animal Quarantine Station, there are about 3-4 vehicles transporting animals and animal products through the area every day. The vehicles mainly come from Thai Nguyen, Hanoi, and Bac Ninh provinces to transport goods to Bac Kan and Cao Bang, or vice versa.

Transported goods include livestock, poultry and animal products. Most vehicles strictly comply with the requirements of presenting quarantine documents and carrying out disinfection spraying according to regulations.

Deputy Station Chief Ma Dinh Khanh said that the situation of transporting livestock and animal products has not changed much compared to before. In December 2024, a violation was detected, while since the beginning of 2025 until now, no violations have been recorded.

In 2024, Cho Moi Animal Quarantine Station inspected 3,574 batches of animals and animal products, including more than 1.2 million livestock and poultry and 827,000 kg of animal products such as buffalo meat, pig's trotters, pig's ears, and frozen chicken feet.
