At 5:30 a.m. on June 24, Phu Quy Gold and Gemstone Group ( Hanoi ) listed Phu Quy silver price at VND 1,397,000/tael (buy) and VND 1,440,000/tael (sell), an increase of VND 2,000/tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday's trading session.

Also in Hanoi, according to a survey at other trading locations, the silver price is currently listed at 1,128,000 VND/tael (buy) and 1,158,000 VND/tael (sell), an increase of 7,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday's trading session.

In Ho Chi Minh City, silver prices also increased, currently at VND1,130,000/tael (buy) and VND1,164,000/tael (sell), an increase of VND7,000/tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday morning's trading session.

In the world market, according to giabac.net, at 06:23:04 on the morning of June 24, the spot silver price was trading at 35.934 USD/ounce, up 0.36 USD/ounce compared to yesterday morning's trading session.

Previously, silver price was listed at 36.03 USD/ounce.

World silver price is equivalent to 943,000 VND/ounce (buy) and 948,000 VND/ounce (sell), an increase of 2,000 VND/tael for both buying and selling compared to yesterday's trading session.

"Despite the pressure from monetary policy, gold and silver continue to benefit from global uncertainty. Geopolitical tensions and trade policy risks - especially the possibility of new US tariffs before the July 9 deadline - are making investors more cautious about stocks and commodities," said Arslan Ali, a currency and commodities analyst.

Investors remain sensitive to any escalation of global tensions or trade disruptions, as this could increase demand for metals, the expert said.
