Meeting and honoring talented and creative Hai Phong women

On October 17, Hai Phong Women's Union held a meeting to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2023) and honor talented and creative Hai Phong women.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Tien Chau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee, acknowledged and praised the efforts to overcome difficulties and achievements of generations of Hai Phong women. Thereby, making an important contribution to the development of Hai Phong City.

Event - Meeting and honoring talented and creative Hai Phong women — Mr. Le Tien Chau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Phong City Party Committee acknowledged and commended the achievements of generations of Hai Phong women's union members.

Accepting the proposals and recommendations of the Hai Phong Women's Union, the city leaders will consider and create favorable conditions to arrange female cadres with capacity, qualifications and ethics into suitable working positions in various fields.

At the same time, it is recommended that female members continue to strive to be "good at public affairs and good at housework", to escape gender stereotypes to promote their own roles, and to contribute more to the development of their homeland and country.

On behalf of Hai Phong City's leaders, Mr. Le Tien Chau presented flowers to congratulate the cadres, women's union members and leaders, former female leaders of Hai Phong City on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day.

According to information from the Hai Phong Women's Union, in 2023, for the first time, the Union launched the festival "Talented and Creative Hai Phong Women" to discover, commend and honor female talents in the fields of: Economic development, culture, education, scientific research, social work...

On this occasion, Hai Phong Women's Union commended Duong Kinh District Women's Union and 42 outstanding products of female members attending the festival "Talented and creative Hai Phong women" .
