Nearly 200 athletes participate in the Dien Bien Family Pickleball Tournament in 2025

VHO - On the morning of June 19, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien organized the opening ceremony of the first Dien Bien Family Pickleball Tournament in 2025 to spread a healthy lifestyle, improve the spirit and physical fitness of the community on the occasion of celebrating Vietnamese Family Day (June 28).

The tournament had the participation of nearly 200 athletes from 27 agencies and units in Dien Bien.

Nearly 200 athletes from 27 agencies and units in the province participated in the first Dien Bien Family Pickleball Tournament in 2025. The athletes competed in 9 categories, divided into age groups including married couples, father-child pairs, and mother-child pairs.

This is the first time the Family Pickleball Tournament has been held in Dien Bien province to practically celebrate Vietnam Family Day (June 28, 2001 - June 28, 2025); continue to promote the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", increase physical exercise and sports for the health of generations, contribute to building cultural families, sports families, cultural villages, cultural neighborhoods.

At the same time, promote the movement of physical exercise and sports among the people and the movement of practicing pickleball in families in Dien Bien to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people, improve health to serve production, work and study.

After the opening ceremony, exciting competitions took place.

Right after the opening ceremony, the matches took place with attractive and beautiful passes, attracting a large crowd to watch and cheer.

The tournament takes place from June 19 to 22 at the Dien Bien Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center.
