Free-to-play racing game 'Disney Speedstorm' has an official release date

According to VGC , the Disney racing game Speedstorm will officially be released on September 28 as a free-to-play game for PC and consoles. The announcement was made as part of preparations to end the Early Access phase.

The kart racing title previously entered Early Access on April 18 with three separate premium editions, each offering different additional content. The game was then scheduled to be released as a free-to-play title for all players.

“Since its Early Access launch, we have received invaluable feedback and support from our community of players, who have contributed to the necessary improvements to the game,” said developer Gameloft. “In addition, moving Disney Speedstorm to a free-to-play experience will also allow more players to access the epic racing experience.”

The developer also said that the Premium Founder's Packs will remain available until the Early Access phase is completely over.
