EVNSPC presented 7 solidarity houses to households in difficult circumstances in Doan Ket commune.

Leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Binh Phuoc Electricity Company, Bu Dang district presented the decision to hand over houses to households in Doan Ket commune.

The handover ceremony took place at the household of Ms. Thi Da Rap, village 2, Doan Ket commune, with the participation of Mr. Do Dai Dong, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, representatives of Binh Phuoc Electricity Company, leaders of Bu Dang district People's Committee and local authorities.

The houses are built according to the “three hard” criteria (hard foundation, hard wall, hard roof), with a usable area of 50m2 or more. The total construction cost of each house is on average over 100 million VND. Of which, the provincial “For the Poor” Fund supports 80 million VND/house (EVNSPC sponsors 60 million VND, Haohua Vietnam Co., Ltd. sponsors 20 million VND), the rest is contributed by the family to complete the house to be more spacious and solid.

On this occasion, Binh Phuoc Electricity Company gave each household 2 million VND to buy essential household items. The local government also sent many gifts to encourage the families when moving to their new homes.

This is a practical activity, demonstrating EVNSPC’s deep sense of community responsibility and humanity, in response to the program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the southern provinces and cities. On the occasion of its 50th anniversary, EVNSPC did not organize any commemorative activities, but spent the entire budget of nearly 19 billion VND to build 315 gratitude houses in 21 southern provinces and cities.
