EVNNPC has restored power to more than 95% of customers affected by storm No. 5.

(Chinhphu.vn) - The Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) said that by 7:00 a.m. on August 29, the unit had fixed the problem and restored power supply to 95% of customers in areas affected by storm No. 5.

Specifically, units within EVNNPC have made efforts to restore and re-supply power to 2,264,563 customers, accounting for 95.07% of the number of affected customers.

EVNNPC Safety Board also said: As of 07:00 on August 29, in Thanh Hoa area, there are still 4,744 customers without power, expected to restore power to all customers today.

Mr. Pham Cong Thanh, Director of Nghe An Electricity Company, said that in Nghe An area, there are currently 79,047 customers without power, but the Company is focusing all its efforts with the shock teams from EVNNPC and EVNCOC to strive to restore power tomorrow, August 30.

Ha Tinh Electricity Company also plans to restore power to the remaining 33,532 customers today, August 29.

Over the past four days, thousands of electricity workers have worked 24/7, regardless of wind and rain, through the night to fix the problem. Mr. Vu Anh Phuong - Deputy General Director of EVNNPC, Head of the Command Board for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of the Corporation emphasized that EVNNPC and EVNCPC are making every effort, mobilizing maximum human and material resources, taking advantage of every hour and minute to restore electricity to the people as soon as possible.

EVNNPC leaders have been on duty in Ha Tinh and Nghe An provinces since August 25 to focus on directing and urging units to closely follow the field, coordinate smoothly, and effectively mobilize forces to speed up progress and soon restore power to loads.

Power companies in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh mobilized maximum human resources, vehicles, materials and equipment to simultaneously fix the problem, while promoting electrical safety propaganda, maintaining contact with the Control Center and enhancing customer interaction.
