Paraglider wobbles and falls into the sea in Ha Long

(PLVN) - A motorized paraglider suddenly lost balance, wobbled and fell onto the beach area of ​​Bai Chay ward, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province (near Reu island).

The incident occurred on June 15. A clip circulating on social media showed a paraglider being piloted swaying in the air and then suddenly falling into the water, witnessed by hundreds of tourists and nearby residents.

Rescue teams quickly arrived at the scene to respond. The parachute operator was brought safely to shore. There were no casualties.

According to the authorities of Quang Ninh province, this was a spontaneous flight. Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the pilot had to land in the sea. Authorities are currently investigating and clarifying the incident.
