Hanoi Tourism - World Heritage Destination

The festival aims to honor the values of World and National cultural heritage; through tourism activities to continue to preserve, promote and attract tourists, affirm the brand of cultural destinations in the region and the world. The program recreates and introduces world cultural heritages, combining traditional crafts towards tourism development, so that each gift is not only an item, but also a unique mark of Hanoi.

This year's program brings together typical craft villages of the capital, introducing quintessential products, along with unique handicraft techniques, especially honoring two craft villages recognized as members of the World Network of Creative Craft Cities such as: Bat Trang Pottery Village (Gia Lam District) and Van Phuc Silk Village (Ha Dong District). At the same time, expanding the connection network, developing inter-regional tourism with localities across the country such as Co To Island District (Quang Ninh Province), Phu Yen Province, with spaces to introduce the tourism potential of localities. The highlight is the program to introduce and promote the image of tourism and typical culture of Phu Yen Province, combined with performances and culinary processing from ocean tuna (taking place on the afternoon of April 12).

The Opening Ceremony of the Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2025 took place on April 11, at the Main Stage in front of Thong Nhat Park, with the art program: "Hanoi to love" and "Hanoi Tourism - World Heritage Destination", conveying the "heritage stories" of the past and present, delving into the harmony and convergence between the cultural and historical flow of Hanoi and the contemporary flow. This is a unique and impressive art program with a laser light show combined with folk and contemporary music, shadow dance performances... bringing unique visual experiences to the audience, opening up a journey to explore "Hanoi Tourism - World Heritage Destination" throughout the 3-day Festival.

In addition, the festival also brings unique features in each space for displaying, promoting and introducing tourism products of heritage destinations and craft villages such as: Space for promoting, performing and introducing intangible cultural heritage, traditional culture, tourism resources of districts and towns in the city; space for introducing Hanoi's typical cuisine; space for art photo exhibition; space for workshops and exchanges with artisans; space for digital transformation of tourism and virtual reality...
