According to the Hanoi University of Science and Technology's Enrollment Plan, for the 2023-2024 school year, tuition fees for the school's standard programs range from 23 to 29 million VND depending on the major.

High-quality programs, ELITECH ranges from 33 - 42 million VND/academic year, with the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Logistics and Supply Chain Management programs having tuition fees of 57 - 58 million VND/academic year.

The international professional English dual degree program has a tuition fee of 45 million VND/academic year, including registration fee.

Programs with other foreign language output standards (international programs) and international training partnerships (foreign partners granting degrees) have tuition fees of 25 - 30 million VND/semester (the TROY-BA and TROY-IT programs have 3 semesters, equivalent to 90 million VND/school year).

In 2023, the total enrollment target for Hanoi University of Science and Technology is 7,985 students, of which 15 - 20% of the enrollment target is based on talent selection, 85 - 90% of the enrollment target is based on high school graduation exam scores and thinking assessment test.

The new point in this year's exam season is that Hanoi University of Science and Technology will not apply the academic record condition for candidates admitted based on high school graduation exam scores and thinking assessment.

All majors/programs of Hanoi University of Science and Technology use the admission method based on high school graduation exam scores. The admission method based on competency assessment test scores does not apply to English Language majors.

Hanoi University of Science and Technology will organize 3 Thinking Assessment exams on June 10, June 17 and July 8 at 9 exam clusters: Hanoi (10 universities and academies), Hung Yen, Nam Dinh , Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Da Nang.

Instead of taking the exam in the traditional form (paper test, multiple choice + essay test) like previous years, the University of Science and Technology will take the exam online on the computer in the form of multiple choice with many types of questions: Choose the correct option; Choose the right or wrong answer; Fill in the answer; Drag/drop the answer.

The Thinking Assessment test has also been adjusted to be concise (150 minutes), with 3 parts: Mathematical thinking (60 minutes), Reading comprehension (30 minutes) and Scientific thinking/problem solving (60 minutes).

The questions are designed according to a thinking scale with 3 levels: Level 1 - Reproducible thinking; Level 2 - Deductive thinking; Level 3 - Higher order thinking.
