Tourists enjoy Me Linh flower festival

This weekend, tens of thousands of tourists from all over flock to the Me Linh District Administrative Square to enjoy the largest flower festival in the North.

Taking place over 4 days (December 26-29), the Me Linh Flower Festival with the theme “Me Linh is brilliant with flowers” organized many exciting and meaningful activities, such as: “Bike flower decoration contest from recycled materials”; painting contest; gluing and assembling “giant” flower paintings; English Festival activities for students; “Me Linh is brilliant with flowers” Ao Dai performance; special art programs of various sectors and organizations and exciting performances by bands, street circus artists, etc.

At the festival, artisans arranged and designed according to each theme with 10 main modules and 8 miniatures decorated with flowers from Me Linh land.

According to the reporter, in the past few days, the central square of Me Linh district has become a meeting place for tens of thousands of tourists. All share the same excitement, joy and amazement at the beautiful and creative scenes created by flowers.

Walking in the space of scent, color and light, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of thousands of flowers competing to show off their colors.

Notably, not only tourists in Hanoi, many tourists from neighboring provinces also flock to the flower festival to enjoy this rare scenery.

In the scent and color of roses, visitors feel the miraculous creativity, the endless love of nature of humans and the vitality and strong growth of Me Linh land today.

Ms. Ta Minh Ly, Thai Binh province, said: Through the media, she learned that Me Linh district is organizing the largest flower festival in the North. Having wanted to visit the homeland of Hai Ba Trung for a long time, and taking advantage of the flower festival, she and her whole family went to Me Linh early Sunday morning.

“I have been to many flower festivals, including the Da Lat flower festival. My personal feeling is that the Me Linh flower festival is equally magnificent and impressive,” Ms. Ly shared.

Within the framework of the festival, the People's Committee of Me Linh district coordinated with the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Hanoi city to organize a "Trade promotion fair" with more than 100 booths.
