A series of key projects are about to start construction
The groundbreaking projects include: Chu Lai Truong Hai Automobile Mechanical Industrial Park Expansion Project; Resettlement Area serving the North-South High-Speed Railway Project in Dien Ban Bac Ward; High-class cultural, entertainment, commercial and service park (Da Nang Downtown); Ba Na - Suoi Mo Eco-tourism and Urban Complex Project; Apartment Project at Land Area C1, C2 in Phu My An Urban Area; Social Housing Project at Land Area B4-1, B4-2 in Hoa Hiep 4 Resettlement Area. On this occasion, the city will also organize the launching of the Inter-level Boarding Ethnic School in Tay Giang Commune.
One of the outstanding projects is Da Nang Downtown invested by Asia Park Company Limited with a total capital of nearly 79,790 billion VND, an area of over 769,000m2 in Hoa Cuong ward. The project is oriented to become a high-tech commercial - service - entertainment complex, including offices, commercial centers, hotels, accommodation areas, cuisine and space for organizing international conferences and seminars. Many people in the ward expect that when the project is completed, more tourists will flock to Da Nang, creating jobs and promoting the development of local service industries...
Another prominent project is the Ba Na - Suoi Mo Eco-tourism and Urban Complex, with an investment capital of about 51,950 billion VND. The project aims to develop high-class resorts, entertainment, living and working with international commercial and service spaces, serving duty-free trade, tourism, logistics and e-commerce.
Mr. Le Minh Tuan, Chairman of Ba Na Commune People's Committee, said that the project not only creates a new look for the northwestern suburbs but also opens up many job opportunities, promotes tourism - services - trade; the locality will accompany in site clearance, resettlement, ensuring progress and people's rights.
The third largest project is the Chu Lai Truong Hai Automobile Mechanical Industrial Park expansion with a total capital of VND1,433 billion, covering an area of over 114 hectares in Nui Thanh commune (Chu Lai Open Economic Zone) invested by Chu Lai Truong Hai Industrial Park and Urban Infrastructure Development Investment Company Limited. The project focuses on manufacturing, assembling, processing components and spare parts, participating in the automobile production and export chain.
Expect new growth momentum
The groundbreaking ceremony of key projects is a particularly important political, socio-economic event of the city to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, contributing to creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere throughout the city, arousing confidence, aspirations for development and the spirit of innovation and creativity among all classes of people, affirming the strong commitment of the locality in successfully implementing "double-digit" growth, towards successfully organizing the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.
With a total non-budget capital of more than VND133,000 billion, this is the city's largest investment attraction in many years. Director of the Department of Finance Tran Thi Thanh Tam said the projects will contribute to diversifying tourism products, upgrading service infrastructure, promoting international trade and creating tens of thousands of jobs. The city prioritizes removing obstacles in procedures, land and connecting infrastructure for smooth implementation.
According to the orientation from 2025 - 2030, Da Nang aims to become a high-quality tourism, trade and service center of the Central - Central Highlands region. Projects such as Ba Na - Suoi Mo, Da Nang Downtown, Chu Lai Truong Hai Automobile Mechanical Industrial Park expansion are "strategic pieces" to realize this goal. Notably, the Ba Na - Suoi Mo project not only enhances the tourism brand, but also forms an ecological - commercial urban area in harmony between nature and modern amenities, prolonging the length of stay, increasing spending of tourists and attracting experts and investors.
