Through monitoring a number of Youth Union and Student Association units at the provincial and municipal levels, it can be seen that many units have actively applied the “1 on 1” model. specific, each volunteer guides each citizen to operate on the smart device in a slow, close, and friendly manner to avoid creating pressure.
Notably, the Hanoi Youth Union coordinated with the Hanoi Party Committee Office to organize training on "Virtual assistant for answering questions about Party Committee documents", consulting and implementing data training with the core of hundreds of key Youth Union officials.
To date, the virtual assistant has been able to accurately answer more than 8,000 related questions. Along with the above activities, Youth Union and Association chapters across the country have effectively organized "branded" volunteer projects over the past years. specifically, the "Supporting the Exam Season" program has attracted nearly 328,000 union members and young people to form more than 6,500 teams, reaching out to volunteer hands in remote areas, reaching out to many candidates with difficult and special conditions.
Volunteer soldiers of "Green Summer", "Red Flamboyant", "Pink Vacation" and "Green March"... actively propagate and disseminate laws to people, especially laws on residence and regulations related to the arrangement of administrative units.
According to Secretary of the Central Youth Union and President of the Vietnam Student Association Nguyen Minh Triet, immediately after the merger, the two-level local government model will officially operate, and Youth Union and Association organizations nationally will quickly deploy about 3,300 volunteer teams to support people in the context of administrative unit arrangement and merger.
Along with that, the provincial and municipal Youth Unions will closely coordinate with the Party committees in communes, wards and special economic zones after the arrangements to urgently complete the grassroots Youth Union system to ensure the quality of volunteer movements.
Volunteer activities that are on the way to being implemented will also be quickly converted from "activity-based organization" to "demand-based organization" to provide more suitable, practical and effective solutions.
The volunteer teams will have technical adjustments to better align with the needs of life, especially issues that people are concerned about such as administrative procedures, using the VNeID application and some areas such as digital transformation, social security, education, and healthcare in special zones, border communes, and communes with a large number of ethnic minorities.
The requirement to reallocate resources means having to reallocate the targets set for the 2025 “Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign”.
Simultaneously arranging administrative units, perfecting the Youth Union organization, improving the quality of volunteer activities associated with digital transformation... are posing many difficulties and challenges. However, with the spirit of initiative, responsibility, creativity and youthful resources, we can believe that each Youth Union officer and summer volunteer will excellently complete the assigned tasks.
