On January 9, 2025, the Closing and Award Ceremony will be held at the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association.
Summarizing the activities of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, the Executive Committee of the Association selected outstanding works to award prizes in 2024 based on the achievements from the two festivals of reformed theater (in Can Tho City) and spoken drama (at the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Theater Festival in 2024).

The works that won the A Prize in 2024 include: the play "Comrade" (author Le Thu Hanh, Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association) and the reformed opera "Red Coral" (author Bich Ngan, adapted by Pham Van Dang, Tran Huu Trang Reformed Theater). Both plays were directed by People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau.
The three works that won the B Prize include: the play "Aspiration for Peace " (script by Ngoc Truc, director by Tran Ngoc Giau, Ho Chi Minh City Drama Theater); the play "The Left General Le Van Duyet - The Man with 9 Death Sentences" (author by Pham Van Quy, script edited by Vo Tu Uyen, director by Meritorious Artist Hoang Duan, IDECAF Drama Theater) and the play "Broken Silk String" (author by Le Hoang Long, director by Hoang Hai, Hong Van Drama Theater).
