Despite many difficulties and challenges, with the drastic, focused, united, and creative direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee, and the joint efforts, high determination of the entire political system, business community, and people of all walks of life, Ninh Binh has completed and exceeded 14/17 planned targets; the economy maintained development, with a GRDP growth rate of 7.27%, ranking 23/63 provinces and cities, higher than the national average.
The economic structure has shifted towards increasing the proportion of the service industry, the service sector has gradually become the province's strength when the tourism industry has received investment attention to develop into a spearhead economic sector. The total budget revenue in the area in 2023 will reach 16,431 billion VND.
The work of building new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas continues to achieve positive and comprehensive results, exceeding the set targets. In addition, national defense and security are consolidated and maintained; social security is ensured.
Congratulating the important results that Ninh Binh has achieved, comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh said that as a child of Ninh Binh, she is always proud of the tradition of the ancient capital with a thousand years of culture, rich in historical and revolutionary traditions.
