On behalf of the Central Propaganda Department, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia cordially sent his warmest regards and best wishes to teachers,education officials, parents and students. In the 2023-2024 school year, in the general achievements of the country's education sector, there are positive contributions from the education sector of Tien Giang province in general and Tru Van Tho Secondary School in particular.
In recent years, the quality of teaching and learning in the education sector of Tien Giang province has been gradually improved, the average score of the high school graduation exam in 2024 increased compared to 2023. Tien Giang is the locality ranked first in the region in terms of the number of excellent high school students, ranked first in the whole delegation in the Mekong Delta region and ranked 10th nationwide in the medal rankings at the 10th National Phu Dong Sports Festival in 2024.
Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia congratulated and commended the efforts and admirable and proud achievements of Tru Van Tho Secondary School in particular and of the education sector of Tien Giang province in general in the past school year.

In the new school year, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized: “Students are the future owners of the country, of their homeland Tien Giang. The efforts and striving in studying and training today will bring them provisions for a bright future ahead… We also hope that “Teachers are like parents”, loving and teaching wholeheartedly, not only imparting knowledge but also inspiring and motivating students to be passionate about learning and exploring new horizons of knowledge”.
On behalf of the school's Board of Directors and more than 1,400 students, Mr. Phan Thanh Phong, Principal of Tru Van Tho Secondary School, said: "The Board of Directors, teachers and students of the school are very honored and grateful. This is a great motivation for the school to strive to complete its tasks in the new school year and the following school years."
Tru Van Tho Secondary School is a bright spot in the education sector of Tien Giang. This school is also honored to be named after a Martyr – Hero of the Armed Forces, an excellent son, a loyal revolutionary soldier of his hometown Cai Lay (Tien Giang province).
On this occasion, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia and the delegation presented gifts to Tru Van Tho Secondary School, offering 50 scholarships (1 million VND/scholarship) to poor but studious students of the school; Tien Giang province presented 20 scholarships to poor but excellent students of the school (1 million VND/scholarship).
