Comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen pays tribute to meritorious people in Hanoi

On July 21, commemorating the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the Central Working Group of the Vietnam Women's Union organized an incense offering, visit and gift giving ceremony to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, people with meritorious services to the revolution, and policy families in Hanoi.

The delegation offered incense at Ngoc Hoi Martyrs Cemetery. Here, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen and delegates commemorated and expressed their respect and deep gratitude to the revolutionary predecessors and heroic martyrs who made great contributions and sacrificed their blood for the independence, freedom of the nation and the happiness of the people.

After the flower and incense offering ceremony at the Memorial, delegates lit incense at the graves to commemorate and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs.

Immediately after the incense offering ceremony, the delegation visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers at the Nursing and Care Center for the Meritorious No. 4 in Hanoi. Here, comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen expressed her deep gratitude to the wounded and sick soldiers and veterans.

"The noble sacrifices of you, my uncles, and brothers, in exchange for independence and freedom for the Fatherland today will forever be remembered by generations of cadres and women's union members nationwide, who will continue the tradition of patriotism and continue to build a rich and beautiful homeland," emphasized comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen.

In Chuong My ward, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Thanh.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and the Hanoi Women's Union presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, people with revolutionary contributions, and policy families in Chuong My ward.

Speaking at the program, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen said that the "Repaying gratitude" activities were actively implemented by the Women's Union at all levels. Through that, female cadres and members were raised their awareness of responsibility and sentiment in encouraging and caring for the lives of families with meritorious services and people with meritorious services, contributing to educating and promoting the revolutionary tradition and the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the Vietnamese people.
