The delegation visited the Public Administration Service Center of Phu Tho Ward and Binh Thoi Ward. Here, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi listened to a preliminary report on the center's operations after 10 days of official operation under the 2-level local government model. He also listened to the difficulties and obstacles in the working process of officials and civil servants and the opinions and feelings of the people when coming to carry out administrative procedures.
Comrade Truong Quoc Lam, Secretary of the Phu Tho Ward Party Committee, reported that the ward's organizational structure is now basically stable.
According to comrade Truong Quoc Lam, at first the staff was still confused, but quickly approached the new task, and the reception and handling of work was guaranteed.
Regarding the preparation for the first Party Congress of the ward, he said that the Congress is expected to take place on August 8 and 9. Currently, the ward has organized to collect opinions from 49 party cells and affiliated party committees on the direction, goals and tasks for the 2025-2030 term.
At the meeting, Chairman of Phu Tho Ward People's Committee Dinh Chi Thinh also made recommendations related to office buildings, equipment, technical infrastructure and operating software...
In Binh Thoi ward, comrade Tran Hai Yen, Secretary of the ward Party Committee, said that immediately after the decision to merge administrative units was made, Binh Thoi ward quickly consolidated the Party and government organizations, smoothly operated the apparatus and focused on implementing key tasks.
Regarding the preparation for the congress, the Ward Party Committee plans to hold it on August 8 (preparatory meeting on August 7 ), and at the same time directs the branches and grassroots Party committees to organize the congress in the last days of July.
During the arrangement process, the staff and civil servants of Binh Thoi Ward quickly grasped the work and carried out their tasks on schedule. With a large amount of work in a short time, the leaders of the Binh Thoi Ward Party Committee hope to continue receiving the direction and guidance of the City Party Committee agencies to perfect the organization and complete the preparation work for the new term Party Congress of the ward.
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi highly appreciated the spirit of effort, determination, responsibility and initiative of Phu Tho ward and Binh Thoi ward after 10 days of operating the 2-level local government model. The organization of the apparatus according to the new model must aim at the highest goal of being close to the people, serving the people better. Through actual inspection, the ward has initially operated smoothly, without any congestion, and the organization of the apparatus quickly stabilized.
Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi suggested that the two localities continue to improve the quality of their staff and civil servants. He also emphasized that in the current conditions, staff and civil servants must be truly dedicated, enthusiastic, responsible, and take serving the people as the measure of their work.
Along with that, continue to focus on the tasks of leadership, direction and management, especially ensuring the leadership role of the Party; promote the role of mass organizations and the great national unity bloc. At the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to fire prevention and fighting in the area, maintain security and order; take care of social security, and gratitude work, especially on the upcoming occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).
Regarding the organization of the first Ward Party Congress, comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi noted that localities must carefully prepare the content of documents, personnel and organizational conditions. In particular, the content of documents must be placed in the new context of the city, in accordance with the requirements, characteristics and potentials, and development orientation of the locality in the next 5 years.
Regarding facilities, he acknowledged the recommendations and requested that localities review and report specific needs for the City to synthesize and consider support, in order to ensure effective operating conditions and serve people better and better.
