With a scale of more than 1.18 million visitors in just the first 3 days (especially on the 3rd day alone, there were more than 650,000 visitors), the exhibition "80 years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" at the Vietnam Exhibition Center has become the event with the largest number of visitors ever in Vietnam.
Every day, the National Achievement Exhibition “80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness Journey” at VEC welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors. The exhibition space, both indoor and outdoor, with a total area of nearly 260,000m2, is modernly designed with diverse amenities, making visitors overwhelmed and excited.
For many visitors, the first impression at VEC is the parking lot divided into 5 scientific zones, total area of 18 hectares, scale of 10,000 spaces. Electric vehicle passengers can also charge their batteries for free right at the parking lot.
“I took an electric bike there, got free charging and the staff gave me detailed instructions. Although the road was a bit congested, everything was very convenient when we got there, so all the tiredness disappeared. The whole family immediately started the pre-planned exploration journey,” Quang Minh (38 years old, Hanoi) excitedly shared.
VEC and the Exhibition Organizing Committee have arranged 12 indoor and outdoor information booths to welcome visitors from all over the country and international visitors. Nearly 2,000 receptionists and volunteers are on duty 24/7, ready to answer questions and provide detailed instructions, making every step of the visitor experience at VEC easier and more enjoyable than ever.
To help visitors easily move to the outdoor exhibition spaces, the Organizing Committee also arranged 2 free internal tram routes, ready to take visitors from the parking lot - where visitors first stop - to the hall system of Kim Quy Exhibition House as well as the outdoor exhibition grounds. Thanks to that, visitors not only save travel time, experience all the content of the Exhibition but also have more opportunities to fully explore VEC - the new development symbol of the country.
“I have been to many exhibitions but this is the first time I have experienced such a grand space, with many amenities, and friendly to tourists. As a former Truong Son soldier of Battalion 559, I feel very happy to come here and see my country developing and modernizing day by day”, Mr. Pham Hong Xuan (Soc Son, Hanoi ) excitedly shared.
Food and beverage services are also an indispensable part of the experience at VEC. Indoors, on the 2nd floor of the main hall, there are 4 cool “chill” food courts, gathering many familiar brands for visitors to rest and recharge. Right on the 1st floor of Building A of Kim Quy Exhibition House or right at the booths of the localities, visitors are introduced to OCOP products typical of the 3 regions.
Outdoors, visitors can also stop at the North and West Courts to recharge their batteries with over 114 food kiosks. In particular, at the West Courts, the “North-South Cuisine Train” takes visitors on a taste tour across Vietnam with hundreds of delicious dishes from 34 provinces and cities, so that visitors can both fill their stomachs and have a cultural “check-in”.
“Going to the Exhibition and getting lost in the food court means wasting the whole day - because I want to eat everything but my stomach has a limit,” Thu Thao (22 years old, Hanoi) shared with a laugh.
In addition, VEC also designed spacious public areas, convenient for visitors to rest after the experience. Visitors are served refreshments with a series of mobile cafes scattered around Kim Quy Exhibition House and outdoors. Free wifi system, 925 indoor and outdoor toilets with separate areas for the disabled, on-site medical and emergency stations... ensure convenience and all visitors are taken care of attentively.
“I read in the newspaper that this is a Top 10 Exhibition Center in the world. When I got there, I realized it was worth it. Every facility and service is scientifically designed and organized, bringing a convenient experience to visitors. There are no buts in 10 points,” said Minh Vu (Phu Tho).
At VEC, visitors are lost in a vibrant world with an average of 100 events and experiential activities every day, hundreds of booths spread both indoors and outdoors. Anyone can easily find check-in corners with thousands of likes. Young people are especially fascinated by the science and technology area - where there are smart robots, interactive screens and virtual reality applications.
Families have their own space to bond with their children. It is a large playground with many unique games, bustling with sounds and sparkling lights. Taking a walk around, members will fully experience the perfect combination of education, technology and entertainment, making every activity at VEC a memorable experience.
In particular, on the evenings of September 2 and 5, there will be a high-altitude fireworks display, bringing a feast of light to all visitors. With a modern exhibition space, thoughtful amenities and top-notch experiences, VEC is becoming the hottest entertainment and check-in coordinate in the country on the occasion of the September 2nd holiday - where everyone who comes must exclaim: "One day is not enough!"
Despite welcoming a huge number of visitors, the entire organization system still operates smoothly and civilly: from arranging shuttle buses, resting places, diverse food areas, cool spaces, to performing programs on schedule, without crowding, without disorder, security, thoughtful medical work... This is a clear demonstration of the dedication and professionalism of the Center's Management Board, organizing units, booths... when putting the experience of visitors first. In particular, the enthusiastic participation of nearly 2,000 volunteers in coordination with the VEC's coordinating force has created a unified block, demonstrating the spirit of national solidarity in this important event of the country.
This professionalism and meticulousness contributes to affirming VEC's position as a leading event organization center, capable of operating national and international events in the future.
